Det Juridiske Fakultet på Københavns Universitet afholdt fra 10. til 12. november et hackathon, hvor emnet var fremtidens betalingsmidler og mulighed for placering af likviditet. Et hackathon er ifølge Wikipedia “en begivenhed, hvor it-udviklere mødes og samarbejder intensivt om udvikling af prototyper, konceptudvikling eller videreudvikling af eksisterende it-projekter. Ofte indenfor et specifikt emne, eller centreret om enkelte data.”

En af deltagerne i Det Juridiske Fakultets arrangement Hackathon: Decentralising Finance var Rasmus Paludan, der i øjeblikket studerer teologi på Københavns Universitet. I forbindelse med arrangementet blev der afholdt en konkurrence om at komme op med de bedste ideer i forhold til fremtidige betalingsmuligheder og placering af likviditet. I den konkurrence blev Rasmus Paludan og hans hold nummer to.

Undervejs mistede Rasmus Paludans hold en enkelt deltager. Ved et tilfælde blev en hijabklædt kvinde placeret på Rasmus Paludans hold den første dag. Hun mødte ikke frem dagen efter. Om det var udsigten til at være på hold med Rasmus Paludan endnu en dag eller der var andre årsager til hendes forfald har det ikke været muligt at opklare.

Københavns Universitet skriver følgende om Hackathon: Decentralising Finance:

“Hackathon: Decentralising Finance

How can we democratise the financial system with disruptive technologies? How can we create a financial system that is more open and accessible to all?  What challenges arise when we disrupt the financial system with disruptive technologies such as blockchain?  

Join us for two and half days of exploration, ideation and collaboration among university students. You will work with real life cases and problem-holders exploring the potential for disrupting the current financial system through the lens of legal, technological, economical, political and ethical perspectives. 

You will be guided through a process giving you skills within Problem analysis methods, Ideation & Solution mapping, Critical appraisal of solutions, Conceptualization, Basics of tech, ethics, legal, funding concerns and Executive communication.

From Thursday afternoon, 10 November to Saturday at noon the 12 November you will work in interdisciplinary teams to develop ideas and find solutions to present for an expert jury. The hackathon includes inspirational talks from the Danish Finanstilsynet, global DeFi companies and close sparring with industry experts. First, second and third place winners are awarded prizes.

Notice that you do not need knowledge of the financial sector or deep tech to participate in the hackathon. The hackathon is facilitated by professionals within design thinking and legal tech from Human & Legal Innovation Hub, Legal Tech Lab & Industry players.

Rasmus Paludan er i øvrigt på lidt af et winning streak i øjeblikket. Fredag blev Mathias Friis dømt til at betale godtgørelse til Rasmus Paludan på 45.000 kroner for æreskrænkelser.
